The last 3 days it was ~80<sup>o<\/sup>, and we spent 2 of them ignoring the options for exploring we&#8217;d &#8220;planned&#8221;, and just hung out in the trailer with the windows open, catching our breath and catching up on &#8220;stuff&#8221;.  Yesterday was <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Game Day<\/strong><\/mark> and perfect weather for it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#090d8e\"><strong>Arrival Day<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We got here in time for that <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Lake Pleasant Cruise<\/mark><\/strong> with Ginny &amp; Benny.  One of the &gt;90<sup>o<\/sup> days, it was good to spend the mid afternoon on the water, <strong>in the shade<\/strong>.  Then we went finally got to see Ginny &amp; Benny&#8217;s winter Peoria home and tour the development they live, and catch up.  It&#8217;s been awhile (the only people we&#8217;ve &#8220;camped with&#8221; multiple times, we &#8220;usually&#8221; see then <a href=\"https:\/\/streaming2nps.com\/?page_id=4364#Camping-with-Friends\">on the road<\/a>!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" data-autoplay=\"true\" data-delay=\"5\" style=\"color:#090d8e\"><strong>Circumnavigate Phoenix Day<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>We started with some personal touring and then did some chores, driving clockwise around Phoenix&#8230;east to Scottsdale, south to Chandler, west\/north to Glendale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Taliesin West<\/mark><\/strong>, Frank Lloyd Wright\u2019s desert laboratory, where he and his apprentices lived, worked, and pushed the boundaries of architectural innovation, nestled in the Sonoran Desert.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park<\/mark><\/strong>, a 30 acre park in the heart of Scottsdale, including the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Scottsdale<\/mark><\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Railroad Museum<\/mark><\/strong>. It was a quick stop, checking out the museum exhibits (e.g. Arizona\u2019s Merci Car, the historic Peoria Depot, and more). We took a ride on the Paradise &amp; Pacific Railroad and the 1950-vintage Allan Herschell carousel.&nbsp;We had to, once we found out that <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Stillman<\/mark><\/strong> went to RPI. Lastly, we did a pretty fast walk-thru the Model Train Exhibit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#a1bcf7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">We are Airstream<\/mark><\/strong><\/mark><\/strong>, to buy new shocks for <strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#a1bcf7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Lizzy<\/mark><\/em><\/strong>, to install later this summer (and then the Chandler Costco for lunch.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Goodyear Tire<\/mark><\/strong> to get new tires for <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#c10707\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Beast<\/mark><\/strong>&#8230;2nd set&#8230;~60K miles each of the 1st two.
