Our campsite was just over some dunes from Lake Michigan, so it was a very pleasant place to hang out. We also got a visit from &#8220;Mark&#8217;s Charlie&#8221; (fellow <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#fe6e06\" class=\"has-inline-color\">RSE<\/mark><\/strong> alum), who lives only 25 minutes west of the park. Charlie-A and Jill came to camp to meet <strong><em><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#a1bcf7\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Lizzy<\/mark><\/em><\/strong> and <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#c10707\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Brute<\/mark><\/strong> (Charlie actually suggested the name, but as of Feb 11, 2026 she&#8217;s been renamed to the even more apropro <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#c10707\" class=\"has-inline-color\">The Monster<\/mark><\/strong>) and then drove us all to Milwaukee for a <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Brewers<\/strong><\/mark> game. Zion is about mid-way between Milwaukee and Chicago, so our 1st <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>MLB<\/strong><\/mark> game from here was a <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Cubs<\/strong><\/mark> game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Games attended at <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\">MLB Ballparks<\/mark>, <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\">1<\/mark> new  &amp; a repeat<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Tampa Bay Rays @ Chicago Cubs<\/strong> <\/mark>at <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Wrigley Field<\/mark><\/strong> (#2-Repeat)<br>An <strong>All Day Adventure<\/strong>&#8230;left camp ~9:40 and got to <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Wrigley Field<\/mark><\/strong> 2 hours later for the 1:10 PM game (driving &amp; the &#8220;<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">L<\/mark><\/strong>&#8220;, 45 minutes longer returning, back ~6:40). It was a beautiful afternoon, and our seats on the 3rd level\/3rd base side were in the shade and had a breeze. Good game, which started with a hit, a walk, and a homer by the Rays. But the <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Cubs<\/strong><\/mark> eventually came back, including 2 triples! Final Score: 4-6 Cubs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>St. Louis Cardinals @ Milwaukee Brewers<\/strong> <\/mark>at <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#0a4277\" class=\"has-inline-color\">American Family Field<\/mark><\/strong> (#20)<br>Another beautiful afternoon game, great to be there with friends, glad to be in the shade of the partially closed retractable roof, second level behind home plate. Final Score: 3-2 Cardinals.  It was the 1st game of 8 we&#8217;ve attended on the road this year, where the Home Team lost. to the beach directly behind us the day we arrived, stayed &#8220;in&#8221; during the thunderstorms our 1st hangout day, and took took a nice, leisurely walk around the park yesterday, including the
