Spending a few days just relaxing and recuperating on the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Columbia River<\/mark><\/strong>. (Yes, that is Gail wading in the Columbia, above.)  WHAT a whirlwind trip this has been&#8230;and hot&#8230;even here on the Columbia!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We spent the 10 previous nights at 4 locations in southern Idaho:  Almo, Arco, Twin Falls, and Boise.  We visited one new National Park (our last one in Idaho) and revisited 3 others:  <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">City of Rocks National Preserve<\/mark><\/strong> (#181), <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Craters of the Moon National Monument &amp; Reserve<\/mark><\/strong> (#134 &amp;135-Revisit), <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Minidoka National Historic Site<\/mark><\/strong> (#98-Revisit), and <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#090d8e\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Hagerman Fossil National Monument<\/mark><\/strong> (#99-Revisit).  We first visited Craters of the Moon in October 2018, with snow on the ground. And when we visited Minidoka and Hagerman Fossil, in October 2016, they shared a small downtown Hagerman storefront Visitor Center (and there was snow).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
