{"id":8800,"date":"2023-08-22T05:57:42","date_gmt":"2023-08-22T12:57:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/streaming2nps.com\/?p=8800"},"modified":"2024-02-09T19:00:25","modified_gmt":"2024-02-10T03:00:25","slug":"rhode-island","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/streaming2nps.com\/?p=8800","title":{"rendered":"Rhode Island!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color\" style=\"color:#090d8e\"><strong>We&#8217;ve now slept in 48 States, and Camped in 30! <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>While we have visited Rhode Island together a number of times, it was always a day trip from Massachusetts (like our <a href=\"https:\/\/streaming2nps.com\/?p=8412\">Visit to Providence<\/a> last month!)  Now we have actually spent <strong>5 nights<\/strong> here, camping in the very <strong>large<\/strong> <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#066a56\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Burlingame State Park Campground<\/mark><\/strong>, on a Watchaug Pond (pretty darn big, looks more like a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Lake<\/span> to us).  It&#8217;s just minutes from the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);color:#066a56\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Ninigret National Wildlife Refuge<\/mark><\/strong> and many beaches on Long Island Sound.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While here, we had a nice breakfast with Karen &amp; Bob, old friends of Mark&#8217;s and a visit from Freddie, n &#8220;old&#8221; college friend of Gail&#8217;s.
