Mammals are Warm-Blooded Vertebrates (have a Backbone).
They have fur or hair, feed their young on milk, and
have a more well-developed brains than other types of animals.
Whales
We have seen Whales a few times, Grey Whales, Humpback Whales and Orcas/Killer Whales. It’s always hard to get good pictures, with the possible exception of those we saw in the Channel Islands National Park…Grey Whales breaching and feeding (Feb 2019).
Dolphins & Porpoises
One of the best “Wild Animal Sightings” we ever had, was boating with a Super Pod of Dolphins in the Channel Islands National Park, .
