My retirement was pretty anti-climatic, compared to Gail’s. Decided to take a buy-out in late December, with Retirement at year’s end. I left work for the Christmas Holidays, and just didn’t go back today! Didn’t have to drive in the snow!
Although I left Seattle on Saturday, October 8, I kept working remotely for a couple of weeks. I officially retired on Halloween! I had to drive to the Philadelphia office, to turn in my badge, PC, and phone. Got back in time to dress up for Trick-or-Treaters. What better way Read more…
