In 2020, we continued Life-on-the-Road…until…Covid-19!!!
(we stayed put where we were for a bit, then high-tailed it home.)
In 2021, we took a few short trips from home.
In 2022, we took more short, local trips and one longer, distant one…
…getting ready to continue Life-on-the-Road in 2023!
2020 – Life with/withOUT Lizzy
WOAH! What a Year THIS is turned out to be!
Took off from Bellevue Mid-January with The Beast, for the Bay Area. From there, having rejoined Lizzy, we went on down the SoCal Coast for a month, before heading east into Southern Arizona. We expected to be in Southern New Mexico (at the Trinity Site) by April, but…THEN…the Coronavirus Pandemic! So much for Life-on-the-Road for a while! We Sheltered-in-Place in Lizzy, in Arizona for ~7 weeks, before returning to Bellevue to Shelter-in-Place at home. Later in the year, we took a few short (<week) Lizzy trips near home…
2 mini vacations with Alyson (Gail’s daughter) and 1 escape on our own.

2021 – Life in a pandemic
And Onward we Go!
Still hanging out in Bellevue, starting to get out again for shorter trips, with and without The Beast and Lizzy, one with friends from Texas and one with Alyson. We flew to the Northeast and met Mark’s 2 new Grandchildren in May and Mark went back again in July. Mark also took a Salmon fishing trip to Vancouver Island with a friend from Bellevue. While spending time near our primary medical teams, we had some elective medical treatments, and ended the year with Gail’s non-elective issue of a broken wrist!

2022 – Pandemic Winding Down?
Getting ready to get back on the road with Lizzy!
In the spring/fall we took a couple of road trips and 3 Lizzy trips, revisiting some favorite spots and finally Mt. St. Helens. In June/July, we took our first longish (7+ weeks) Lizzy trip in over 2 years, through the Rockies & High Plains of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Southern Idaho. First new National Parks & State Capitols since March 2020! Mark also flew back to NY/NJ in August, and took his 2nd Salmon fishing trip to Vancouver Island. Might be his last for awhile…time to get back to Life-on-the-Road in 2023!
