2017 was the year!
After…5 years of discussion, and at least 2 years of regularly visiting Colonial Airstream and Patrick Botticelli, we decided it was TIME!
SO…early in the year, we put in our order for The Beast, and picked her up in May. A month later, we felt ready to put in our order for Lizzy.
We picked up Lizzy in late August. First stop was Mark’s Jersey Shore house. We spent the weekend loading Lizzy up, and showing her off to the neighbors. Then we took Lizzy and The Beast to Allaire State Park, to try a “little” camping.
Mark had to have a detached retina fixed, so we postponed our “Dry Run Trip” to late October. That’s when we took our Airstream Trip #1…a 12 day trip to central Massachusetts and upstate New York.
