2023 – Heading on out!
No “Special” 70th Birthday Trip this year…just…
…back to Life-on-the-Road with The Beast and Lizzy. Took off in mid-January, south through California & east through southern Arizona, 6 weeks around New Mexico (culminating in a visit to the Trinity Site, April 1), a Dash across Texas, Oklahoma & the Midwest to Pittsburgh. A month home, then Jersey Shore, a 10 day car trip in the Mid-Atlantic, and the summer with family on the Jersey Shore and in New England. Autumn was spent in northern New England & upstate New York. One last stop on the Jersey Shore, then south through the Carolinas, a month home for Thanksgiving, and Florida for the Holidays with family.

- Attended games at 2 new MLB Stadiums – Total 13 of 30
2024 – Year 2-in-a-row On the Road!
Getting in the Groove!
Loving Life-on-the-Road with The Beast and Lizzy. Leaving Cocoa, we spent January going around Florida, then along the Gulf Coast thru Alabama & Mississippi to New Orleans. Looping back through mid-Louisiana & Mississippi, we visited all the Alabama NPs, and then headed on up through the Appalachians to the Jersey Shore. After 6 weeks at home and 6 weeks with Northeast family (NJ & MA), we took off for the Great Lakes, making it to Lake Michigan, up to the UP and around (and on) Lake Superior. After a 2-week trip back to the NW, we went south on the Great River Road, SW on Route 66 and south into Arkansas. Home for the holidays, 7 weeks, from Little Rock.

- First Visit & Boating on our 5th of the 5 Deepest US Lakes (Lake Superior)
2025 – On the Road, in the Air, on the Water
In the Groove!
Still loving Life-on-the-Road with The Beast and Lizzy and making headway on our goals. After visiting the grandids on the Jersey Shore, we flew back to Little Rock and spent a COLD late January continuing south thru Arkansas, to Louisiana and Texas. After 5+ weeks crossing south Texas, we took~6 weeks in northern Arizona and going north through California. The Beast and Lizzy will be home the end of April for 3+ months…new Truck, ~3 weeks in the Northeast (NJ & MA & PA) with family, and July in Alaska! Then X-Country East for another visit to NE and our 50th RPI Reunion! before heading south via the Carolina Capitols…to Atlanta? Home (and Hawaii?) for the holidays. (updated 3/22/25)
