Mostly just hanging out…in camp or at Linda & Steve’s
We planned our week in Sarasota to mostly visit with Gail’s good friend Linda and her husband Steve. Unfortunately, they had to go back to Seattle just before we arrived. Instead, we had time to catch up a bit on “stuff”, hanging out in camp and a few days at their place (better internet & Laundry). We also took a day each to:
- Visit Mark’s cousin Janice again, in Fort Myers, with her daughter Mary & husband Gary. We visited the Edison & Ford Winter Estates Museum. Gail was excited to see a whole room dedicated to Connie Mack (most famous son of her home town)

- Visit Mark’s RPI friend Gary in Sun City, with an excursion further north to Ybor City. We visited the Ybor City Museum State Park, (did you know Ybor City was once the “Cigar Capital of the World“?) and the Tampa Baseball Museum.

Off for Florida’s Panhandle!

Good morning, hope it warmed up for you, heard was 38 in Bradenton yesterday morning. A former neighbor lives there. Sure it warmed up nicely. Nice of you to stop to see my niece. She always loves to see northern visitors. Have a wonderful rest of Florida.
