Puget Sound Visits Album at:
May 16-19 and May 26-June 3, 2019
Overview
While home mid-May to mid-June, we hosted company twice, first time we had any house guests in a long time! We went site-seeing with them all, somethings in common, some not.
Highlights
We took them all to Seattle Center & the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) and to Pike Place Market.
RPI Friends David-S & Diane visited from Los Gatos, CA, May 16-19. We visited Seattle Center, MoPOP & Pike Place on May 17, and explored the UW Arboretum & stopped at the REI “Mothership” on the way home on May 18.
Brother Dave-V & Joy visited from Donora, PA, May 26 – June 3. On the first day, May 27, Memorial Day, we visited Seattle Center & the Folk Life Festival, MoPOP, and Space Needle. Then on to Pike Place, the Gum Wall, and an early Joy Bday Dinner at Cutters. On the last day, June 2, we visited Hendrix Grave Site in Renton and returned to Seattle…to Pike Place and then walk down Post Alley to the Seattle Waterfront and dinner at Ivars on the Pier.
In between, we had time for a 4 day trip to the Olympic Peninsula, of course, revisiting our favorite (well, Gail’s favorite) National Park. We spent most of our time there in the park, in fact, we stayed in park lodging all 3 nights…at Lake Crescent one night, at Kalaloch two nights:
