Farther south on the Great River Road, between Iowa & Illinois

We spent a few hours, over 2 days, visiting the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium in Dubuque, Iowa. Very Cool! We even got to tour the William M Black Dredge Boat. We also spent an afternoon in Galena, Illinois, visiting Grant’s Home and wandering around Grant Park and historic downtown Galena.

And today, made it to Hannibal, Missouri

Enough farther south on the Mississippi River (~240 miles), that we “cut the curves” and skipped driving Lizzy down The Great River Road today. But Lizzy did visit her 1st (our 55th) Costco in Davenport!
