Alaska at Last!

Our 50th State Together!

We have arrived in Anchorage, and just checked into our first Anchorage hotel, for 2 nights. We actually landed a bit after noon, but stopped for a visit to the Alaska Aviation Museum at the airport, before heading downtown. Spent some time watching float planes take off, too. Now we’re heading out to the Anchorage Independence Day Celebration at Delaney Park, across the street!

Sitka, Skagway, & Juneau (July 25-August 2) – One more week exploring on our own. Off the cruise, 1 night in Sitka. Then 3 nights each in Skagway and Juneau. It will include visits to:

- Alaska State Capitol in Juneau
