Back on the Road Again
Since leaving Harpers Ferry in late April, we spent a few days southeast of Pittsburgh, 6 weeks at home in Bellevue, and then a few more days back southeast of Pittsburgh.
Around Pittsburgh we mostly visited with Mark’s Family and stored/unstored Lizzy and The Monster. However, we also took a day trip with Brother Dave-V and Joy to Fallingwater, a Frank Lloyd Wright House.
In our 6 weeks at home, most of our time was spent making home repairs/upgrades and cleaning out “stuff”. i.e. Mark fixed a dishwasher leak and a master shower leak (we’ll patch the livingroom ceiling in October) and we finally replaced our 25 year old Range (and 15+ year old printer). We filled up the recycling and garbage bins every week with more left for Alyson to put out the next few weeks, and make 2 big trips to Good Will. On the fun side, a few visits with friends, Mark’s fishing trip to Canada, and a trip to the Seattle waterfront and Aquarium to celebrate Alyson’s birthday.
Off for Philadelphia!
For a visit to the smallest National Park and Gail’s now annual visit to Cousin Lee Ann. For the next month, we hope to visit a few more northeast/mid-Atlantic National Parks, while mostly visiting family in New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Maryland.

Purging and clearing must be a summer theme – also going to do a large e-waste run this week! How many 2002 era monitors does one need to keep?!?!
