Dunewood Campground

Our #50 National Park Together, this is a revisit, staying at Dunewood Campground, in Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (updated to National Park, after this visit.) We drove around a couple of times to find a good site, as this is a No Reservation Campground, and it took us awhile to figure out how it worked. (i.e. we thought we’d found a good spot, and then figured out someone else had already claimed it.)

We’ll be here 7 nights, with plenty of time to visit Gail’s Brother Charlie just north of here in Michigan, the new Pullman National Monument in Chicago, Mark’s RSE Brother Charlie north of Chicago, and still have some time to explore Indiana Dunes.
