Overview
The first leg of Life with Lizzy 2023 was 37 days, driving ~3,400 miles (~2,000 Towing, ~1,400 exploring), staying in 10 locations, in 3 states. We started heading south through Oregon & California, mostly making miles and visiting friends and family. Then we headed east across Southern Arizona, where we started doing more Touring.

Highlights
We visited a number of friends & family in California, some multiple times, and found time for a couple of short National Park Re-visits.
Then we got to Arizona and the “real touring” started, somewhat limited by cold and some snow! Exploring included:

We Closed out “South through Arizona” when we drove into New Mexico…a good transition point to a new “Trip”…Nuclear New Mexico.
