Home in 3 long driving days and a day of “rest”
Gail did her share of towing all 3 driving days, including through Portland. Mark did drive us through the Siskiyou Pass and back into Puget Sound Traffic!
Our one day of “rest” was at in Albany, OR, not total rest, as The Beast got her last oil change there. We’ll be saying goodbye next week, when we trade her in for our new truck! Mark is now on day 2 of detailing The Beast, in preparation.
Visit to Jelly Belly Factory, enroute to Mount Shasta City
Driving day 1 we made a switch-drivers-stop at Jelly Belly Factory. Very cool, with exhibits akin to Tillamook Creamery & Bush’s Baked Bean Factory. Then our 2nd time making an overnight stop in Mount Shasta City on a mad dash home. (First time was during early Covid, dashing home from Arizona in April 2020.) One of these days, we’ll have to stay over there for a real visit!

Until we fly east for Memorial Day weekend in Massachusetts and a couple of weeks on the Jersey Shore.

Weather has turned nice, hope it stays, trees and flowers in bloom, finally, sneezing season!
