Taking Lizzy through the Rocky Mountains & High Plains!
After 2+ years of only taking short trips around Washington & Oregon, we are finally heading out on a longer trip! We’ve planned a 7-week Loop Trip, mostly in the Rocky Mountains.
While we’re out, we’ll be staying at 17 different places, in 8 States, including Colorado, our 49th State Together! We’ll be visiting several friends along the way, 4 New State Capitols, 1 New MLB Stadium, 5 New National Parks (and 4 revisits), and whatever other Museums and Attractions we can fit in.
We took off today, just a short drive, to kick off this adventure, spending time with friends! We’re spending our 1st night at Dru Bru Taproom & Brewery, a Harvest Host in Cle Elum, Washington, just off I90. Ginny & Benny actually “camped” in the Dru Bru parking lot with us, on their way to Montana. Linda & Steve, who live only 5 miles away, inspired the stop, and joined us for Brews & dinner and a LOT of catching up!
