Although we didn’t visit it at all!
We camped in Davie, Florida just 3 nights, for one trip south, and one trip north. First day we drove south, first for a revisit to Robert Is Here Fruit Stand, for Fruit Milkshakes and some “grocery shopping”, the for a revisit to 1 National Park Site:
- Biscayne National Park (#67-Revisit), where we finally visited some of the 95% of Biscayne that is water, on the 31/2 hour Heritage of Biscayne Boat Tour which included some time on the Boca Chita Key. First visit, we only made it to the Visitor Center and took the short hike that is on the mainland.
Yesterday, we drove north to Boynton Beach, so Gail could finally visit Ann’s final resting place, her best friend from college, one of her best friends ever, who left us almost 21 years ago. In remembrance, we listened to Crosby, Stills and Nash on the drive to and from where Ann is interred with her family. (Last time Gail saw Ann, they attended a CSN&Y Concert in Fort Lauderdale.)
Off for Big Cypress National Preserve
5th time to camp in a National Park…and 5 days no cell service?

I have fun doing it…and it leaves US breadcrumbs, to remember what we did!
