Overview
We took Eight Days, driving The Beast back to Morgan Hill, to resume Life with Lizzy, with 3 stops on the way:
- Portland, OR, very short stop
- Crescent City, CA, our “touring” stop
- Fortuna, CA, visiting family
Our trip start was delayed a day, due to snow in Bellevue. Our last day, leaving Fortuna, we hightailed it to Morgan Hill to start our SoCal Coast Adventure.
Highlights
We had dinner in Portland with Mark’s Nephew Ryan-B and spent 2 days with Gail’s Cousin Patti-Q & Wes in Fortuna, CA. As we were driving through Cave Junction, Oregon, it was a treat to have another dinner at Taylor Sausage (which we had discovered in September, when we went to Oregon Caves National Monument)!
On our “touring” stop in Crescent City, we visited:
- Battery Point and Battery Point Lighthouse
Multiple days visit to 1 National Park:
Redwoods National & State Parks (#168).
