Overview
We took Five Days on a road trip with The Beast, to drive home from Morgan Hill, CA, where we left Lizzy for a couple of months. We took off Monday to visit Bill-C & Judith in Palo Alto and spend our 1st night. Then we drove North on I-5 for the next 4 days, getting home Friday afternoon. We spent one night each in:
- Palo Alto, CA, where we stayed with Bill & Judith
- Sacramento, CA
- Grants Pass, OR, where we celebrated Mark’s Birthday
- Salem, OR
Highlights
This was a mostly just a quick run home. We celebrated Mark’s Birthday with lunch in Mount Shasta, CA and dinner in Grants Pass, OR. Other than that, we spaced out our drive to visit the 3 West Coast State Capitols on our way:
- State Capitol Tour (#7) – Sacramento, California
- State Capitol Tour (#8) – Salem, Oregon
- State Capitol Tour (#9) – Olympia, Washington
